Not Into Sport?

Obviously, Dubai Sports City has a strong emphasis on sport, however the developers have not dismissed those not into sport.

The Dubai Sports City community will offer more than 1.7 million square feet of retail space in three separate locations (Arena Mall, North Point and South Point), with completion due at the end of 2009. The largest being Arena Mall which will be over 1.4 million sq ft with over 230 stores on two floors.

Each shopping district or centre will offer a vast array of food outlets along with a multi-cinema complex and an entertainment zone for the children and larger children alike. Not just shopping and gaming either there is due to be live concerts and other shows utilising the indoor and outdoor stadiums further. As mentioned a previous psot, international schools, medical facilities and hotels will also be within the community.

A huge pull for this site will be the centralisation of all the main ammenities. All will be in walking distance so once within the community, vehicles will not be needed. As with just about all of the major cities and areas, traffic is a problem so being able to walk to a sports venue in the day or a meal in the evening is far more relaxing.

Residential developments are selling out rapidly. Elite 5 Sports Residence selling out in jst one week with the Elite 6 Sports Redidence not far behind it.
